Scott is the longtime CSU media specialist for numerous sports teams. He is also battling health issues.

Scott has been the “Voice of the Cougars” for 48 years, starting with the 1977

baseball season. He’s called over 3,000 baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, and softball games.

Scott has been behind the microphone for all eight baseball World Series

appearances and 28 of the 30 NCAA regional and super regional appearances.

Scott has also called 26 men’s and women’s basketball appearances in the

NCAA Tournament, including two trips to the Final Four.

He served as the CSU Sports Information Director for two years, and he’s been

the President of the Columbus State Athletics Hall of Fame since 2005.
